En Ce Moment

In En Ce Moment volgen we de opbloeiende liefde tussen twee jonge vrouwen ten tijde van een lockdown, opgelegd door de wereldwijde COVID-19 pandemie. Het verhaal begint bij de ontmoeting, de hevige verliefdheid: de pandemie lijkt geen belemmering voor het verliefde stel. Maar naarmate de tijd vordert, blijkt het stel te worstelen met het communiceren van hun emoties. Intensiteit, lijden en passie liggen dichtbij elkaar in de kleine ruimte waarin zij zich bevinden. Regisseur Serena Vittorini blijft zeer dicht op de huid van de hoofdpersonages. Het resultaat is een intiem portret; een momentopname, maar één die universele thema's aansnijdt en ons mee laat voelen met het belang en de moeilijkheid van echte verbondenheid.

En Ce Moment was te zien tijdens DocuDonna 2021 en maakt deel uit van de DocuDonna-selectie bij IFA, samen met My Father's Naples en Becoming Me. Regisseur Serena Vittorini is bij de vertoning aanwezig voor een Q&A (in het Engels) met DocuDonna’s Silvia Lelli en artistiek leider Cristina Berlini.

En Ce Moment is a love story between two young women during the lockdown imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The two meet, fall in love and live together in a limited time and space. The film portrays their failed attempt at communicating their emotions and needs in an alternation of intensity, suffering and passion. Director Serena Vittorini stays extremely close to her protagonists. The result is an intimate portrait; a short moment in time, that addresses universal themes and through which we experience the importance and the difficulty of true connections.
