Un Anno di Scuola

De mondige Zweedse Fred begint haar laatste schooljaar in een nieuw land, een nieuwe stad en dus een nieuwe school: de Technische School van Trieste aan de Adriatische kust van Italië. Als enige vrouw in een klas vol jongens staat ze al snel in het middelpunt van de belangstelling. Vooral van drie vrienden krijgt ze aandacht: de fascinerende en bescheiden Antero, de extraverte casanova Pasini en de lieve en beschermende Mitis. Met haar komst brengt Fred een nieuwe dynamiek in de vriendengroep, die al bestaat zolang de drie het zich kunnen herinneren. Iedere jongen verlangt naar Fred op zijn eigen manier en samen balanceren ze op de dunne grens tussen een warme vriendschap en ondeugende romantiek, met de nodige rivaliteit. Maar om echt deel te worden van de groep, moet Fred steeds meer tegenstand verduren en steeds meer van zichzelf opgeven.

She attracts particular attention from three friends: the fascinating and modest Antero, the extroverted Casanova Pasini, and the sweet and protective Mitis. With her arrival, Fred brings a new dynamic to the group of friends, which has existed for as long as the three can remember. Each boy yearns for Fred in his own way, and together they walk the fine line between warm friendship and mischievous romance, with the usual rivalry. But to truly become part of the group, Fred must endure increasing resistance and give up more and more of herself.
